About Kevin - Located in Kew
Hi my name is Kevin and I want to be your newest member of the family!
I had a rocky start to life when me and my siblings were found out on the scary streets, 1 week old, with no mummy. Just like Home Alone!
Much like that Kevin, I’m a confident little guy who is a ball of energy and loves everything and everyone. I can be a bit cheeky and mischievous as well, but it’s all in good fun.
I’m super active and love to wrestle and play with my brother. My foster family absolutely adore me and want me to go to the best home possible.
I am great with children of all ages and also get along with other cats and small dogs. I haven’t seen larger dogs before but I think I wouldn’t have any problems with them. I’d love it if I could have a feline friend to keep me company however I love all my human friends just as much!
I hope you’ll be my forever family that can provide me a home where I can snuggle on the couch and make a perfect life.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
