Kinnie

Kinnie is full of love showers you with kisses, hugs or jumping on your lap just to be closer to you. This boy is too pretty, he looks at you with the most loving gaze, extremely easy to love. Such a good Boy!

Kinnie is a playful and friendly boy, he spreads joy and warmth to all around him. Kinnie enjoys a variety of recreational activities in the garden, including playing with toys, finding treasure treats, and cuddling with all of us. He has an excellent relationship with his foster dog sister and can play with her anytime she is up for it.

Kinnie’s favourite pastime in the world his being with his favourite people, super affectionate, loving on anyone that visits him.

In terms of obedience, Kinnie is a well-mannered lad who is submissive and ready to please. He great on walks, currently using a harness. He will Sit and Drop when asked and comes when called. In the yard, he is relaxed, frequently resting or following his humans about for pats. Kinnie is quite well-behaved and can self-entertain.

Kinnie's sociable nature shines through when it comes to playtime. He can play with another dog if they are up for it otherwise happy to be in their presence. He plays well with his foster sister; very gentle play then takes breaks in the sun when needed. He’s also been around the resident cat and has not been fussed about it, rather he focuses on the people and canines over feline company.

Kinnie has slept outside alone and in the laundry both peacefully with no drama whatsoever. He eats kibble in the morning and night, has a great nose for hunting and really appreciates food hunts for enrichment.

Traveling in the car is no issue for Kinnie. While he may initially need some assistance getting in, he behaves exceptionally well. He settles in for the ride and doesn’t make a peep!

Enrichment is an important aspect of Kinnie's life. He loves spending time with people and thrives when given attention. Playing with a ball, teddy, or Kongs keeps him entertained, and he responds well to recall by whistle or by his name. Daily walks and training sessions would greatly benefit him as he’s young and keen to learn.

Kinnie's ideal home would be one where he can be surrounded by people he adores. He longs to be the best friend of a loving family who will provide him with recall training, basic commands, and plenty of joy. He would also be suited to a household with a female dog of similar size and with enough space to run, as well as sunbathing opportunities.
