Introducing the handsome and lovable Micah!

At just one year old Micah came into our care by no fault of his own, and is ready to find his fur-ever family! This lovely boy is looking for a home with adults only who can take it nice and slow with him and show him the way. Additionally, Micah must be the sole canine companion in the home to ensure he receives the undivided care and focus he deserves.

Micah is hoping to find a new home that is on the quieter side so his confidence can bloom. New experiences are a little overwhelming for Micah, so his new family will need to be able to take introducing him to new people, dogs and experiences slowly.

Micah is a little shy at first but given time he is a sweet, lovely man who would enjoy a nice quiet stroll around the block with a warm bed and meal to come home to.

Micah is a smart boy eager to learn, and has already mastered sitting! Micah's potential adopters should be committed to positive reinforcement training methods to help Micah master all his skills and boost his confidence. Our lovely adoption staff can show you how to effectively use these methods.

Micah is still a youngin', and it may take him some time to adjust to his new home environment. It is important for his adopters to be patient and understanding with him whilst he settles in. Micah would benefit with someone being home more often than not, but enrichment toys, such as snuffle mats and kongs are good ways to keep him busy and comfortable <3
