Watermelon is an incredibly sweet cat with a gentle, polite demeanor. Despite his initial shyness, he responds well to calm and patient interactions. Once he’s comfortable enough, he loves to play and explore the world around him, and can get quite sassy when he has the zoomies!

Now that he’s settled into the foster carer’s home, he’s super curious and loves to explore! He’s always super hungry, so come bearing treats! He also loves feather wands, soft toys, and ear scratches. His favourite thing is to snuggle up on the couch with his foster carers – if you give him some belly pats, you’ll be rewarded with LOTS of purrs!

He loves spending time playing with his fur sibling, and would greatly benefit from having a cat friend to help him come out of his shell, but he’d also be just as happy as the sole cat in the household.

Watermelon has enormous potential for forming a deep and meaningful bond with a caring adopter. He would make an excellent choice for a patient individual or a family seeking a feline companion who will blossom with love and understanding.
