Piper is a big lady with a lot of love to give. She was surrendered into GAWS' care after not getting along with resident dog in her previous home and has been a joy to work with and assess whilst awaiting her new forever home. During her time with us, Piper has shown she is a happy, excitable girl who loves a human that is always down to play. Piper can be strong on lead when she has somewhere she wants to be, so will need an owner that is confident with training and handling large dogs. Piper has shown us that she can enjoy the company of a well matched canine playmate, but that she prefers to choose these playmates herself and is not one to seek out the friendship of every dog she meets. Because of this we think Piper would benefit from being the only pet in the home, so she can hoard all the love for herself.
