About Tas
Tas has a morning routine that involves having a small piece of my toast. He loves to share everything with his humans, dogs and other cat friends. Does he sound like the kitten you need in your world? He was our representative when we signed up for the Tassie Devils as a foundation member, making it onto their facebook page.
Tas is a special kitten, he has a magical touch with people and likes to play with cat friends his age. He loves to cuddle with my dog, Lacey and he seeks time with everyone in our house. When meeting new cat or dog friends he will still need a slow introduction. Tas can be similar to annoying younger sibling. He is a miracle kitten; he was found wrapped in bailing twine with his siblings when he was a few weeks old. Sadly, his siblings were put to sleep, and I took him on as a bottle baby. That means he loves humans!
Tas would like a home with someone who does want an interactive cat, he wants to be with us, cuddles on the lap and kisses on his little head. He also needs kitten or cat friends, so that he can use up the excess energy he has playing with them. If he does not have a cat friend, he will need puzzle toys and lots of interactive play to keep him happy. He has not lived with children; he sometimes is over excited when playing with a wand toy and human. This might be scary for young children.
His ideal home would have people around for most of the day, people who want to have him follow you everywhere. Tas does follow me about the home, he snuggles for an afternoon nap on a bed near us from 1pm until 3pm and then he is ready to go. We have had him come and sleep on the bed at night, he finds a spot to sleep and only wakes up if you do. He does not pester to be fed or wake us before we are ready.
Tas is interested in going outside and has mastered the use of the cat flap into the cat enclosure. He does enjoy being outside with his humans or cat friends. Napping in the sun in the safety of the enclosure. As he was hand raised and too confident, we think he would get into to trouble if allowed out without supervision. Just this week he started some harness training so he could join us for wanders in the backyard.
Does Tas sound like your new kitten? Send an enquiry and let's meet.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is flexible, we want our kittens to be in homes that meet their needs. All potential adopters are asked to complete an application either via email or a phone call. We may contact you via the phone to discuss your home and lifestyle to ensure that the kitten is a great match. We then organise a meet and greet and most often an adoption will happen on the day (it is not a guarantee though).
