About Rainbow Sugarplum - 3 Year Old Frenchie (Hold)
Introducing Rainbow Sugarplum,
Rainbow is a fluffy French Bulldog which gives her a unique and adorable appearance.
Rainbow is three year’s old, she is unique in many ways. A sweet and affectionate little sugarplum with a charming personality. She loves cuddles and being close to her humans, making her a perfect companion for someone who enjoys snuggling on the couch and doesn’t mind snoring.
Rainbow has a playful side and enjoys short play sessions, especially with her favorite squeaky toys and doggy friends.
She forms strong bonds with her family and loves to be wherever they are. She is gentle, patient and friendly towards other dogs and visitors of the house. Rainbow would thrive in a quiet home with other doggy friends of similar temperament who are laid-back and chilled like she is. Rainbow is suited to a home where she can receive plenty of love, attention of someone who works from, part time worker or is fully retired. Rainbow is not suited for apartment living as she enjoys having a backyard. Rainbow has nearly mastered toilet training, only making one mistake during the night inside and takes herself outside through the day.
As a brachycephalic breed, Rainbow does come with some health issues which are allergy issues, Itchy skin and yeast, ear infections. Rainbow came in with severe cauliflower ears which are caused by yeast infections. One ear has healed up but the other is still a working process and needs to be monitored. We are currently doing an elimination process with her diet to reduce her ear infections. Her diet currently consists of, Kany, fish, biscuits and a probiotic. Rainbow will need a hypoallergenic wash every 1-2 weeks which can be done at home. Her fluffy coat requires regular brushing to prevent matting and keeping her looking her best. Currently she isn’t on any medication for her allergies as it’s being managed through a good diet and regular baths.
Due to her unique breed of dog, it’s best that her new forever family has brachycephalic breed experience.
Rainbow is loving and kind towards children but would be best suited for older kids as she needs a quiet home. She can get overwhelmed in busy and loud places. Rainbow is untested with cats but given her personality and temperament, we believe she will be fine with them.
Rainbow hasn’t had the best start at life, she was used as a breeding dog and wasn’t been exposed to much. This is why she needs a quieter home and how her allergies become so bad.
