Pippy

Hi everyone! My name is Zippy, aka Pippy (though my foster family calls me Pip because there’s nothing Zippy about me 😊). I’m a 2-year-old brindle greyhound who raced as Zip Zip Away.

I’m currently living with a wonderful foster family that has two other dogs—a border collie and a chihuahua. I absolutely love playing with them and going for walks. Sometimes I get so engrossed in sniffing something amazing that my humans have to gently remind me to move along.

When I first arrived, I was very shy, but I’ve blossomed and grow more confident every day. I’m easy to feed and not fussy at all. Car trips are one of my favorite things, and I travel really well.

I have a quirky habit of picking up objects and moving them to my bed. I don’t destroy or chew them, I just like to hoard them. However, I do enjoy playing and chewing on toilet rolls and paper in my bed. 😂🐾

Crowds aren’t my thing—I’d rather stay in my bed and watch from a distance.
My perfect family would have another dog or 2 to play with while you are out. A quiet street because lots of loud traffic can be scary sometimes but I’m working on my brave pants every day!
I also love camping with my foster family, so you can be assured im a well seasoned camper now. Haha! Woof!
