About Julep
Introducing sweet little Julep, an almost 2 year old red and tan female Kelpie.
I love to snuggle and being around my hoomans. I make a great travel buddy, settling down to nap the km's away and would enjoy being a grey nomads pal. I'm a great office and factory dog, overcoming my timidness with each hooman introduction and showing a curious cautiousness around new noises. I love to explore and being on the ute. Most of all I love company.
I have migrated from the crate to the big girl bed where I stay all night, without incident, until the hoomans appear in the morning. My recall and lose lead walking is pretty good and I'm getting better at stay and waiting for my food. I love having my foster sister chase me in the paddock, wrestle and play tug however prefer to watch when the other dogs play fetch. I'm eager to learn and will make a faithful little companion for someone who continues my training.
I am friendly with other dogs and show no aggression preferring the submissive role. I would do well with a buddy to hang out with if my hoomans have to work. I'm quiet when meeting children and enjoy collecting their pats. I've not been tested with cats. When the hoomans are out I spend my time outside the chicken coop staring at the chickens. I used foster ma as a human shield when some sheep approached me in the paddock.
If you are looking for a lovely little dog, you want to do tricks with and snuggle the cold evenings away with, I'm ready to meet you.
