Ridiculously handsome. Tick.

A family man. Tick.
If this sounds like your check list, then…
Meet Rubble! He is a 9 month old Border Collie. Rubble was born into care and has spent his short life becoming accustomed to family life, and engaging in professional training. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, Rubble is now on the lookout for a new family to call his forever fam!
Likes- walking and long runs, chasing tennis balls, the hose, warm baths and anything to do with water in summer including the beach, pats (lots of pats), his treat ball and wobble ball. He also loves playing with other dogs.
Dislikes- cold water for baths and steam mops (the boy can be picky! Haha), chickens.
Rubble has his basic training sorted already - he can sit, lay, is learning and has almost mastered heeling with loose lead walking , in place (on your bed). He is working hard on his recall - will do it most of the time, unless very focused on another person or dog - oops, puppy brain!
Rubble is fully house trained and crate trained - he sleeps in the crate at night. Having grown up with children, he adores them and is very gentle and patient.
But of course, his breed also means that he is super active and will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He can get over excited when on lead and spots people or another dog - this is common with his age and breed but can be worked through with correct training.
Rubble has not been tested with cats, but as he is reactive to chickens we expect he is not suited to homes with cats.
Rubble would enjoy another doggy friend at home and to be included in an active family lifestyle!
Rubble’s adoption fee is $800. He has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped. Rubble is in foster care in Lower Hunter Region, NSW.
