On Hold
About James - Located in Surrey Hills
I am Batman. But you can call me... "The Lap Dweller" or James.
In the shadowy corners of this home, I wait. Perfectly still. Silent. Ready to bring warmth and joy to whoever dares to hold me. My mission? To find a forever family. One that understands the power of a good pat, the necessity of constant affection, and the importance of having a loyal companion by their side.
I wasn't always this way. I came from the streets, a lone warrior (among my 4 siblings) fighting for survival. But now, under the care of a kind soul, I've discovered the beauty of being held. Of being loved. It's a powerful feeling. One that I wish to share with my new family.
Don't be fooled by my size. Though I may be small, I possess a heart big enough to conquer any villain of loneliness or sorrow. My cuteness is my disguise, my secret weapon. It's been said that I'm ridiculously adorable. Perhaps even too cute for my own good. But that's a risk I'm willing to take.
To my future family, know this: I'm loyal. I'm affectionate. And I am ready. Ready to be your constant companion, your source of comfort, and your protector against the darkness of empty laps. Adopt me, and you'll never face the shadows alone.
I am the little guy. I am... the perfect addition to your family.
Adopt me. I dare you.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
