About Choo Choo
If you are interested in Choo Choo, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/3bTG6XWQv49RPxJV6
Meet Choo Choo, a laid back canine companion that brings happiness and warmth to every room he enters. This calm and happy soul is guaranteed to win the hearts of everyone he meets with his wonderful nature.
Choo Choo embraces the charm of indoor life, enjoying the finer comforts of his home. He also lives harmoniously with a medium-sized cattle X staffy. They respectfully play with each other and he gives his furry companion enough space when she needs it. Choo Choo tends to prefer the company of calmer dogs, like greyhounds, particularly the ones that aren't too overexcited. He's also comfortable around smaller breeds, though we haven't tested him with fluffy dogs yet.
This adorable pup distinguishes himself with his excellent bladder control, always signalling his need to go outside for bathroom breaks. Plus, Choo Choo is pretty good with his leash, generally walking without pulling, even when he spots a rabbit. More of a walker than a sniffer, he enjoys peaceful, relaxed strolls—perfect for someone who appreciates a calm walking buddy.
As for children, Choo Choo gets along well with his human siblings, but given his mild sleep startle responses, he'd do well in a home with older kids who can understand his boundaries.
Choo Choo has shown no signs of separation anxiety and is generally at ease with the hustle and bustle of vehicles and road traffic.
As he continues to build confidence around other dogs during walks, Choo Choo would ideally suit a family with a bit of experience with dogs. His sweet soul glows most brightly when he's curling up for some cuddle time or when he greets his family with a beaming doggy smile as they return home. He's not only a happy boy—Choo Choo is truly a joy to have around.
Whether you're living in an apartment or a house, Choo Choo is adaptable and easy-going, fitting perfectly into any home setting.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
