About Roger
*In foster care in Cabramatta, Sydney*
Playful and supremely confident, beautiful amber-eyed Roger is always up for making new friends!
This cheeky chap is a smoochy king and the leader of adventures in his foster home. He loves rattly toys and balls, tall towers and window hammocks where he can keep an eye on his realm, and Cat TV :)
When he's had enough fun and games, you'll find him snaking around your ankles and sneaking onto your lap while you work at your desk. He's as soft and slippery as silk, with lashings of black eyeliner to rival Cleopatra's, so providing all the cuddles he wants is no hardship! And he's already a very strong and solid fellow - he'd definitely eat everything in the house if you let him!
Roger is independent by nature, as content when playing hard or being your helpful EA as when snoozing in his own space. He's adjusted well to multi-cat life while in foster care, and has enjoyed the company of small dogs, so he's an excellent candidate for a forever home with other compatible pets!
Like all Maggie's pets, Roger is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... would be indoor-only, as I lived in a carpark until very recently and the outside world feels a bit scary now! Though a sunny balcony or a secure enclosure might be nice...
I wouldn't mind living with other cats who'll tolerate my high energy and bossy nature. Another kitten to rumble and spar with would be amazing - maybe you'd like to adopt my brother Terry too? Check out his profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1045904
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I'm still very young, with plenty of excess energy to burn, so I love to race, romp and wrestle for hours before bunking down for a nap.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids since coming into foster care, but being so confident I'd likely do well in a family home with children who'll be gentle with me and let me settle in at my own pace.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: The other cats in my foster home are much older than me, so they're not huge fans of my antics - but I quite like them, and they put up with me, so all is well :)
I've spent time with some small dogs who were very nice and respectful, so I'm happy to meet your dogs and see if it's a match!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
