About Hoop
Hoop is ready to be your newest best friend!
This wonderful puppy is the perfect mix of cuddly and fun. Hoop is a friendly and social puppy. He wants to become friends with anyone that he meets and will take all the pats and attention on offer. Hoop loves cuddle time and is always up for some cozy snuggles. He will sometimes just jump into your lap and curl up before dozing away looking oh so cute in the process. Hoop is absolutely adorable and has awesome markings that make him look like he is wearing a tuxedo with these cute little white spotty paws to match.
While in foster care, Hoop has been getting out and about in the world. He is quite a courageous little dude and isn’t phased by much. Hoop enjoys going to local pubs and cafes, and off to parks or sporting fields as well. He enjoys exploring all of these new places with his foster carer by his side – they even enjoy rides on the electric bike together! Hoop loves to play with his toys, particularly the squeaky ones, and he enjoys playing fetch. Overall, he is just such a fun loving pup who is going to make such a great addition to his new family.
Hoop has been well socialised with other dogs since coming into care. He has playdates with other friendly dogs and has met plenty of dogs when out and about. This pup is great with all dogs that he meets and enjoys playing with them. Hoop has been lucky enough to have been attending puppy school with his foster carer as well where he has been able to play with more of his puppy friends. Hoop will grow to be a medium sized dog and will need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and healthy throughout his life.
Through his puppy school classes, and at home, Hoop has made a great start on his basic training. He knows how to walk on a lead, sit, shake and lay down. He is food motivated and is a good learner. Hoop is doing really well with his recall and learning to come back when called. His new owners should be committed to continuing his training and making sure he becomes a great canine citizen. Hoop is toilet trained in an apartment to use some fake grass and is crate trained where he sleeps throughout the night without a peep. He also travels well in the car where he usually just curls up for a nap while you play chauffeur to the next site of adventure!
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Hoop where he will be a loved member of the family and included in the daily outings. He can live in a home with another friendly adult dog who is already trained up and ready to be a good role model for him. It would also be fine for him to live with as an only dog if his owners are home more often than not. Hoop should be allowed inside to be with his family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
Hoop has been socialised with children when on outings and would be fine to live with dog savvy children. He is also young enough to learn to live with other types of pets with the appropriate training and guidance. Hoop is a really adorable puppy who is ready to take on the world with his new owner. There is bound to be a lot of fun and adventure ahead for this little boy.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
