Shmuppy

Hi hi hi, my name is Schmuppy! I'm a young Cattle dog x that is full of beans waiting to start my next chapter in life - will it be with you?

I'm looking for a family that knows all about Cattle dogs and high energy working breeds as we require lots mental and physical stimulation needs, especially since I'm still a puppy - the double whammy! I would love to be provided with enrichment to keep my puppy brain nice and stimulated, things like puzzle feeders, long lasting chews, doggy ice blocks, snuffle mats are just a few off the top of my fluffy head. Another great way to keep my brain active is training - since I'm still a pup and a smart one too, training is a great way to create a bond with me whilst teaching me to be the best grown up dog I can be. Being a Cattle dog too, I absolutely love toys and playing fetch, it's my favourite past time. I become all bouncy and spritely when I see a toy that's about to be thrown because I know it's game on, woof! That being said, it is best I go to a home with children 12 years and up as I really am full of beans and can become bouncy when overexcited especially when I play fetch hehe. I would absolutely love a decent sized yard to exert all my energy playing fetch with you then lounging around in the sun, how does that sound?

During my time at the RSPCA, I haven't met too many other dogs and can become a little bit frustrated if I can't meet them straight away. I'm still learning some impulse control, being a young pup what can I say.. So if you have another dog at home, it is best they are calm and social to ensure we will be a good match. If so, please bring your resident doggo to the shelter so we can organise a play date!
