Introducing the wonderfully wacky Wally Wiggle Worm!
Wally is currently enjoying some time in foster care whilst he waits for his purrfect new home.
His foster carer says that whilst he may come off as a bit of a shy guy, it really is just a ploy to get you closer for some attention! Once near him, you can find him wiggling his way around on his bed, rolling this way and that way, to draw those patting hands in... hence his funky name!
He is an easy going cat who simply loves love and will do anything to have you be near him - without being clingy. He is more than happy to sit beside you, comfortably kneading his bed whilst you give him some pampering pats and kisses. He is happy enough to be placed onto your chest for cuddles, occasionally ducking his head under your arm for comfort. He's also quite the smoocher himself, and is also not opposed to tummy rubs! no tricks or lies - he will happily expose his belly to be patted, without giving you a swipe, kick or nibble!
He is not overly vocal - preferring to let out a soothing purr, rather than a wailing meow. He's does like a small chat, but he keeps it polite with his gentle and almost squeaky meow. It's almost deceptive that such a quiet meow comes out of a big boy like him!
Wally has had short interactions with his foster carers 'grunty and snorty' little French Bulldog - and he is okay with being around him, but not too close. He will give a hiss and turn his back or a quick swat to show who is boss. He may be able to co-exist in a home with a polite doggo who will not be so focused on wanting to be pals. He is a little unsure of his foster carers resident cat, at times able to be in each others presence, and other times, letting out a bit of an unsure hiss. His ideal home would likely be just him and his human owner to dote on him endlessly.
He does not seem to be exit focused, and will likely need a slow introduction to a home, starting with a smaller space such as a bathroom or laundry. He is quite happy with this and has not tried to rush out of his living quarters... Except with the rustle of a food bag!
Any family would be so lucky to gain him as their family member, so if he sounds like the right fit for you, put your enquiry through PetRescue today!
