Pesto

Hey there! My name's Pesto and I'm a scrumdiddlyumptious little pup on the lookout for my furever home! Could that be with you? Here's a little about me to find out!

I'm a cattle dog, which if you didn't know is what's called a "working breed". This means we are the kinda dog that was bred for work! Specifically herding sheep and cattle! We're only small but we pack a punch, and we're filled with energy and a drive to please our people! It would be great if my humans know a little about us working breeds, or at least what to expect from us! We are exceptionally smart, and need lots of mental stimulation! Mental enrichment with things like snuffle mats and puzzle toys would be awesome!

If you know working breeds you might expect this, but I loooooove toys! I could play fetch all day if I could! I find it so much fun and it's such a great way for us to bond!

In my pawfect home, I'd love it if my people were home most of the time. I don't particularly like being left alone, it's a bit scary and stresses me out. I feel much better when I have my people around to support me and keep me company. So as long as one person is home with me I'm happy!

During my stay at shelter I've shown to be pretty friendly with other dogs! I'm able to walk past them or say hello if they want to! I came into shelter with a few other dogs too. So if you have any doggos at home that's okay with me! Just bring them down to the shelter to meet me and we can make sure we will be the best of friends!

So if I sound like your pawfect pup, please don't hesitate to come down and meet me!
