About Paddy *Adoption Pending*
*adoption pending* paddy and and his brother, shadow, are 2 healthy, happy puppies sarg recently rescued from our local pound and are now looking for their forever homes!!
there were 6 pups surrendered to the pound at 8 weeks of age as their owner had managed to find homes for some yet not quite all of them (4 of them now have homes thanks to other rescue groups!). Their mother is a purebred golden labrador and their owner thinks it was a neighbouring shepherd x who jumped the fence and “got to her” which would explain why shadow is all black and a little fluffy while the others are golden in colour like their mum. All of the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and aren’t “in your face”. They get along well with their carers other dogs both big and small and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as children making them pretty much “bomb proof”. All of the pups love food and aren’t fussy so hopefully this will help with their training. Adorable little paddy got his name as we “busted” the pup’s out of the pound on st. Patrick’s day! he’s the smallest of the litter and enjoys a play with his siblings, checking out the world around him or just sleeping the day away in a sunny spot like puppies do! paddy is very human orientated and enjoys being by your side, he will make a very loyal and dedicated companion. While in care paddy will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and how to walk on a lead. As he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners! daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep paddy stimulated are also a necessity so he doesn’t get bored and up to mischief as labs are prone to do. Paddy will be medium to large in size once he finishes growing. Paddy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup. If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up adorable paddy then please download and complete a sarg dog application form by following this link: http://www. Sarg. Net. ps: paddy will be desexed at 12 weeks of age and then he can go to his forever home so please be patient!
