About Cora
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Cora sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Introducing Cora, the cuddly, gentle, love-overload cat who's chill to her core. If wrapping yourself up in a warm fuzzy cuddle seems like the perfect way to end the day, Cora's your ideal match!
Sweet and easy-going by nature, Cora is the epitome of a mellow cat, always ready for a comfortable snooze or just enjoying someone's company. She's the kind of cat toeing the line between playful and calm, chasing her wand toy only if the mood strikes, but mostly, she prefers to laze around in her cosy bed.
One of Cora's charming quirks is standing on her two hind legs just to give you gentle kisses, while another is how she occasionally picks up her toys with her paws, playfully tossing them around for a bit before going back to her regular nap schedule. You might find her waking early in the mornings, active and vibrant, as she waits for her feeding time. Once satiated, Cora loves nothing more than to curl back into her little corner, enjoy the warmth, and take a long, uninterrupted nap.
Cora has a unique way of showing her love and affection. She doesn't hesitate to express her feelings by resting on you, similar to a royal on her throne. She will follow you around, occasionally rubbing against your legs before standing on her back legs to give you kisses. She just loves putting her paws on your shoulders so she can be picked up.
Cora is very adaptable and would suit many homes. She would be happy in a fun and vibrant household and gets along with other cats and dogs, but she also would relish being the only pet and be doted on by a quiet, loving owner.
Cora has been litter-trained and doesn't present any problems with different types of litter boxes, placements, or kinds of litter. She's also been wormed, and her diet includes dry food as recommended by the vet for her dental health.
In a nutshell, if you have a spot in your heart and home for a cuddly, easy-to-love kitty, then you might just have found her in our adorable, affectionate Cora. She can't wait to share her tremendous love and companionship with her new forever family.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
Home2Home currently operates a pay-what-you-can system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose the adoption fee amount that is most suitable for their situation. The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
