About Princess and George ๐
๐๐พ๐ SE QLD - MEET PRINCESS AND GEORGE - A GORGEOUS TWOSOME ๐๐พ๐
โก๏ธThe story of Princess 8 and George 6:
Once upon a time there were 2 sweet little brother and sister pugs wandering the lands looking for their new home. These arenโt just ordinary pugs, they are royal pugs, and their names are Penditi Prince George and Penditi Shadow Princess, WOW ๐ซ ๐๐ซ
As with all fairy tales, this story has a villain and that villain is cancer. Sadly for Princess and George their human mumma passed away and they didnโt have any other family ๐ฅ๐๐
Thankfully their mummaโs friend has been keeping them safe and well and giving them lots of love and now it is time for them to find their forever home. You see their adopted mumma loves them very much but one of her other dogs is not a fan, terribly rude indeed, and she feels they need a place where they are the only important babies and can be given all the attention they need ๐
They have had the opportunity to roam vast lands in the last year and love helping with farm chores and adventuring. Donโt worry though if you donโt have lots of land, they will enjoy short walks and opportunities to meet new friends at parks and beaches.
If you would like to be the new King and/or Queen for these little royals then there is a few things you need to know.
โก๏ธFirstly, if you believe in boundaries and personal space these little royals are not for you, they donโt care that you want to be alone because they love you very much and want to be with you all the time. The beauty of this is that you get lots of snuggles and love from them.
Unlike Peter Pan, you will never lose your shadow ๐คฃ
โก๏ธSecondly, pugs are a Brachycephalic breed, this means their face has been really smooshed and sometimes they can have breathing trouble which is worse if they get a bit podgy. Lucky for you they are at a good weight and there is NO snoring from the little sweeties. They can also over heat so keep them in the aircon in summer.
โก๏ธThirdly, they both get way too excited at food time and there is generally a bit of argy bargy, mostly from George, Princess just yells at you to hurry up, so good idea to feed them at opposite ends of the kitchen.
โ ๏ธNow for the REALLY important stuff: โ ๏ธ
They love cuddles, especially at night, if you are sitting, they want to sit really close to you, great for winter.
Princess loves a good booty scratch and belly rub.
George loves to Lick Princess and loves being told how much of a good boy he is; he also enjoys a nice gentle pat on the head.
They are good with all other animals, they have been around chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, ponies, cats, and other dogs, they are both lovers not fighters (except when food is involved). They havenโt been around little kids but I canโt imagine this would be an issue as they are ok with dress ups and photos.
They know, and choose to mostly ignore basic training, like stay and sit.
They have been fed science diet dry food along with chicken breast and rice with pumpkin every night and small amount of dry food in the morning.
โก๏ธThe Boring Stuff:
Both have cortavance ear meds once per week, .5ml in each year to prevent ear infections, pugs can be prone to ear infection.
Princess has Tacrolimus 0.2% eye drops, 1 drop twice per day โ she lost her other eye from a dog fight years ago.
They are bathed with Malaseb medicated shampoo as they are prone to dry skin and then Princess also has Alpha Keri medicated wash.
George does have some weakness in his backlegs. Most likely spine related. Multiple vets have checked him out and it does not cause him any issues. It is very likely bene like this since birth.
All medical stuff can be discussed with shortlisted applicants later on.
We know there is a perfect family out there that would love to welcome not just ONE but TWO wonderful pugs into their forever home and if this is your family, we would love to hear from you!
