About Thor
Whilst named after the god of war, he is an absolute softie. Thor loves walks, cuddles and zoomies. He is often found with a toy in his mouth when at rest, which does make for some great photo opportunities.
He loves being included in everything which means you will never be on your own. He is also a complete foodie and may try to trade you off over a bit of chicken or bacon.
MY IDEAL HOME: Thor is best in a quiet home as he can get a bit overwhelmed with too much action and finds it hard to settle. He really needs someone with a lot of love and patience whilst 'the true' Thor emerges, as it will take a little bit of time as this gorgeous boy has seen a lot of change. If you can be that person he will eventually shower you will love, show you his typical pug snorts and snores and you will have fun. Someone present most of the time and who will make him the main feature.
He does have some skin issues so is on a special diet and has to be given regular medicated baths
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Stop or go, no in between! Basically make sure he gets a good daily stroll and some time to sniff about and he'll be a loving couch potato.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Thor has previously lived with a baby without issue, he is a gentle guy but management around food is a must as he is WILD about snacks.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: He is fine with other dogs but does prefer his humans.

For Dogs: https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872
Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
