Meet the amazing . gentle and champion guardian in the making the beautiful Maremma boy Polar Bear
Polar Bear has been well into his guardian training since arriving to us when he was a mere 9 weeks old. He has been raised on a farm and as pictured is currently training with a small pack of sheep and doing AMAZING.
Polar Bear aka Bear is out with the herd most of the day under supervision and has already proven to be a born natural showing a calm and gentle nature around the herd while sparking into action the minute he feels they are under threat.
He started off his work under the guidance of a mature and working guardian and is now working solo ( again under supervision) and has rarely put a foot out of place.
He will spend his day lazing with the herd or finding a vantage point to kick back and observe from.
This boy is a true natural and at this tender age to be showing this level of maturity around the stock is priceless .
Bear does travel calmly in the car but he is definitely not a fan and really chooses to be true to breed and prefers to stay at home in his paddock.
He is initially wary of strangers as per typical breed traits go but does warm up and once he bonds to you he is a loyal and attentive boy
He already stands his ground to more dominant dogs and will not be pushed around by anyone wanting to take his herd on lol
He chooses to sleep out into the either with the stock and has shown no concerns with heavy storms and strong winds
Polar Bear has had 2 sets of puppy vaccines.is Desexed .Microchipped, Fully wormed and HeartWorm prevention
Polar Bear currently on a Raw Food / Dry Diet and is a picture of health
He is currently in care on a property with sheep, chickens, dogs and horses so is well on his way with socialization and integration into rural life
As typical to breed Polar Bear is a gentle but wary of new people boy and has already shown his breed natural instincts lazing around during the day and coming into his own at night warning off strange sounds in the across the paddocks so we see great potential for him as an adult in work
He will make a loving and loyal Guardian Boy in the right hands

Polar Bear is going to be an amazing worker in the right home with the correct training as all the pre work is well underway

This breed IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SUBURBAN SUBURBS LIVING THEY WILL DRIVE YOUR NEIGHBORS INSANE WITH THE BARKING

IDEAL HOME/ Adoption Criteria
Maremmas are not suitable for standard suburban homes as they are protective and do bark a LOT warding off predators so these puppies are only going to the VERY best homes on land / property living to ensure they find their forever permanent homes..
They are only babies and are nowhere near ready to be left out unsupervised guarding stock until at least 12- 18 months of age with daily and solid training during their upbringing.
We seek homes with secure fencing and a min of ringlock fencing
