I've been adopted!
About Chorizo
My foster parents say I am the best girl! I am super confident and love exploring and meeting new people. I currently don't know if I prefer nap time or play time. They are both pretty great, right?
I loooove snuggles so much and am very cuddly, give me all the ear scratches. My foster parents are very impressed they managed to pretty much toilet train me in less than a week? What can I say, I'm just very talented. I learned how to sit in a day! And not to be bragging, but my recall and leash training are also going amazing.
I love learning things and showing off my skills to everyone I meet. Treats are my favourite, so I am easy to motivate. Speaking of treats, I love chewy treats like ears to occupy my time and also save your furniture. What else can I say? Everyone that meets me adores me and my foster parents think I'm super easy going, apart from the gremlin noises I make when playing with my furry foster brother.
MY IDEAL HOME: I am a little bit of a social butterfly and whilst I'm fine being left alone for a while with a nice chew toy, my favourite thing is spending time with my humans or another dog. So if you have another dog, or even walk from home, I would absolutely love that. As long as you exercise me a lot, I think I would be fine in an apartment. Puppy school should be on my to do list and of course humans to ongoing training is important for a growing girl!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm still a baby and love long naps in the sun, but I'm definitely not a couch potato. I really love jumping up and down things, maybe we could learn a sport together? Zoomies are also fun, I can run fast and I looove playing with other digs.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A few children live in my apartment building and they are so fun! Despite being a puppy I haven't nibbled on them, but I sometimes have to be stopped from jumping up at them. So make sure to supervise me and it might be better if they are old enough so I don't push them over with all my excitement.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I loooove other dogs and would be very happy to live with another dog, as this means having a playmate. But otherwise I also seem very happy with my humans alone, as long as I get daily play time. I have seen a cat and found it a bit scary, but if you introduce me properly it should be fine.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
