About Cleopatra
A tortoiseshell bombshell...
Meet Cleopatra,
Cleopatra is a lovely, affectionate girl. She reminds us of a leopard as she saunters around her condo which is her own little jungle. She is gentle and sensitive with a hint of timidity, yet she is very friendly & also quite stunning. She is curious and very flirty!
She is suitable for first time owners or those with experience and she is also fine to live in any household setting all thanks to her adaptable & very easy-going nature.
Cleopatra is open to meet kids of any age, and she loves to be picked up, cuddled, carried and petted. She particularly loves head pats & back scratches. She will dance on one spot as you pat her and she will keep coming back for more. She will seek our your lap for a cuddle, and has been known to drool when she purrs. She loves to give you head butts to show her adoration of you.
She has previously lived with cats, in fact she lived with Midnight (ID: 11302), Olivia (ID: 11304) and Olive (ID: 11305). She appears to not be fussed by the other cats in the cattery so we are fairly sure that she would be fine to meet other cats, and recommend that if you are going to introduce her to another feline friend to do so slowly & gradually.
As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Cleopatra would go living with dogs. This would be up to the discretion of her new owner.
Cleopatra was an inside only cat in her previous home & to make sure that she feels safe in her new home, we think that she should remain an inside only cat. She has never experienced the outside world before, and as she does have a timid streak, it may be too much for her and she may wander off, get lost, injured or worse.
Cleopatra's energy needs a low, unless a wand toy is to appear; it is here that you'll witness the leopard in full swing! Cleopatra is not fussy when it comes to food, she loves all food & her favourite treats are Crunchers treats!
She is also very tidy, always using her litter tray.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
