About Rocko
If you are looking for a playful and energetic companion, meet Rocko! A delightful Kelpie Mix, this 7-month-old boy has a shining personality and almost boundless energy. His two favorite things in the world are playing tug-of-war and settling down for a good cuddle - showing both his fun-loving and affectionate sides.
Perfect for those who enjoy an active lifestyle, Rocko makes an excellent jogging partner. He adores long walks and runs, relishing the opportunity to stretch his legs and explore the great outdoors. This happy-go-lucky dog requires an active family who can provide plenty of exercise to match his energetic spirit.
Rocko is also great with children of all ages. His friendly, gentle nature makes him a fantastic family dog. In addition, he would adapt perfectly to a home with other dogs, so households with existing pets need not shy away.
However, potential adopters need to keep in mind that due to Rocko's athletic abilities, your garden will need secure 6ft fencing to prevent him from jumping over. The great outdoors may be enticing, but safety comes first!
All in all, Rocko is a well-rounded, adaptable, and affectionate dog who is waiting to fill the lives of his new family with love, laughter, and energy.
Adoption details
We are not open to walk ins, appointments by booking only. All households members must be present before we can adopt an animal out.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

Wed: 12.30pm-3:30pm
Thurs: 12.30pm-5:00pm
Fri: 12.30pm-3:30pm
Sat: Open Fortnightly
May 4th 9am-12:00pm
May 18th 9am-12:00pm
Sun: CLOSED
For serious enquires we are able to accommodate to outside our normal appointment hours. Please call us to arrange a time.
