About Yancy
Yancy has the sweetest nature with a fun, playful side. From the happy-go-lucky girl she is now, you wouldn’t know that she had such a hard start to life. She and her other Y-named siblings were abandoned at a country NSW pound without their mum at 10 weeks of age; sick, skinny and flea-ridden. She has grown up in the rescue kennels and now 10 months old, is in full health and well and truly ready to meet her forever family so she can experience the love and comfort she deserves.
🐾 Affectionate lovebug with soft, low-shedding coat: Yancy thrives on affection and is always up for a cuddle. Yancy has the squishiest cheeks/neck skin with the softest, smoothest coat that is low-shedding, making her a perfect cuddle buddy. Check out her videos.
🎾🐶 Loves dogs and play: Yancy is great with other dogs, having lived her whole life among countless others at the rescue. She enjoys regularly romping with her furry friends at the rescue and does these hilariously cute little mouth snaps in the air with a silly wrinkly snout as she plays. She also loves fetch, though as you can see in the video, with mixed results as to whether she brings the ball back!
🧠 Clever & trainable: Yancy is a clever girl, so training should be a breeze for her new family. With a bit of patience and consistency, she'll quickly pick up on commands and manners. She already takes treats gently and knows how to sit. She does occasionally jump up to greet you in her initial excitement, though this will likely resolve quickly with training and once she doesn't have to compete with all the other dogs at the rescue jumping up for attention.
🌱Ready to Shine with a Slow Introduction to the World: She can be timid with new places and people, but with patience and a slow introduction to the world outside the rescue, she will well and truly shine and shower everyone in affection.
🏡 Dream Family Pet: This total lovebug would make the dream family pet. With her gentle demeanor and loving heart, she's ready to become the cherished member of a loving family.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet girl, don't hesitate to arrange to meet her! 🐾❤️🏡
