His owners had no interest in taking any responsibility for Rocky and wanted to leave him at the pound with no home, not caring about how anxious and scared he was.Now, just like Mars, Rocky is looking to upgrade to a family that cares.

Look no further - meet Rocky, your new canine cowboy! This lively two-year-old Staffy combines a friendly and playful demeanor with a warm, inviting coat of shiny black.

Rocky, just like Mars, his brother that you might have seen in a previous adoption post, is no stranger to challenges. His previous owners showed no concern for his well-being, leaving Rocky anxious and scared. Now, just like Mars, Rocky yearns for a loving and caring family.

Upon arriving at our shelter, Rocky was initially wary of men but he has since warmed up and gained confidence, proving that he truly loves everyone without prejudice. He brings a bit of sunshine into every day and his favorite pastime is sunbathing on his hammock bed, luxuriating in the warm glow and radiating contentment.

Never turning down a chance for some fun, Rocky enjoys playing with toys and trying to engage other dogs in playtime. Despite his playful nature, he's also a huge fan of snuggling up close and stealing all your attention with his puppy dog eyes.

When it comes to socialising, Rocky tends to be the friendly neighbor, often seen trying to play with the Bull Arab next door to him. He hasn't had formal introductions yet, but he looks forward to using his friendly nature to make even more friends.

Rocky has mastered basic commands, and with a bit of ongoing training, he could polish his doggy manners to perfection. But don't worry - with Rocky being so food motivated, training should be a breeze! With a treat in view, he'll do his best to learn any tricks or commands you throw his way.

🐩Please be aware that if there is an existing dog/s at home and you’re interested in meeting Rocky, all existing dogs will be required to perform a meet and greet prior to adoption.

🐩Rocky’s adoption fee is $332.00 which includes the following: pre-desex health check, desex, microchipping, vaccination, worming, flea treatment and lifetime registration within New South Wales.
