About Ruffles
Hi there! My name is Ruffles, and I'm here to tell you a little about myself. I may seem a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you, you'll find that I've got quite the purr-sonality!
You see, I'm what you might call a timid boy. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle me, but with a little patience and understanding, I'll come out of my shell in no time. When I'm feeling comfortable, I'm not afraid to speak my mind—I'll meow and chirp to let you know just how I'm feeling.
I'm a big fan of head bunts; they're my way of saying, "Hey, I like you!" And if you're lucky, I might even let you give me some full-body pats—on my terms, of course. But here's the thing: I do have a bit of a low touch tolerance. After a few pats, I might need some space to myself. That's why it's best if I go to a home with no kids under 12.
Oh, did I mention I'm a foodie? That's right—I'm highly motivated by tasty treats, especially cooked chicken. It's like a little piece of heaven in my bowl! And here's a fun fact: I'm quite trainable when there's yummy food involved.
Now, about my medication—it helps me cope with my anxieties, but it's not something I'll need forever. Once I find my purr-fect forever home, you'll have the chance to consult with the vet about gradually weaning me off it. It's all about making sure I'm happy and healthy!
So, if you're someone with cat experience who can recognize when I'm feeling overwhelmed, and if you've got plenty of cozy hiding spots for me to retreat to when I need a break, then I think we could be the perfect match. I can't wait to meet my new family and start our purr-fect adventure together!
