Big Mumma

** IN FOSTER CARE IN MARRICKVILLE**

Big Mumma is a 7 year old ex breeding British bulldog. She has a very sweet nature, LOTS of personality and is very very affectionate. She craves human affection and likes to use you as her pillow. She is food obsessed and shows how agile she is for a chunky potato when it comes to feeding time.

MY IDEAL HOME:
- Someone that is going to feed her good quality food that will continue to help improve her skin
-Someone that’s home more often than not as she is happiest with a human around
-her love language is quality time and human affection
-with no existing pets, although she has got along with some of her foster siblings she can be picky with which dogs she does and doesn’t like. She also can get jealous and resource guard her bed and owners from other dogs
-someone who plays with plush toys with her, big Mumma loves chomping on and chasing her soft toy duck
- where she will be an inside dog with access to outside to toilet
-someone who is familiar with bulldog breeds and will make sure they’re cleaning out her skin folds and tail pocket daily
- in foster care she has marked on her bed, we think this is due to living with other dogs in the house.
-would prefer not to be left alone for huge amounts of time, she occasionally shows signs of stress if she’s been by herself but this hasn’t been consistent behaviour with her
- a home with air conditioning for the hot days and summer months as the heat really knocks her around

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Big Mumma is a big couch potato but she does love getting out and about. However she is quite restricted due to being a brachycephalic breed. In an ideal world she’d like 2-3 shorter walks a day but would also be more than happy to sit on the couch with you watching TV or laying on the grass in the afternoon sun.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Big Mumma can be a bit boisterous around food and being 28KG she could easily knock children over, she’s never shown any aggression toward humans in foster care. She would suit a household with kids over the age of 10 years old

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Big Mumma has been very picky when it comes to other dogs. We have had her living harmoniously in her foster home with a bunch of different dogs but this has been very well managed and meticulously supervised in the household. She prefers not to share her humans, she gets very jealous when other dogs are being shown affection. She is a bit of a bulldozer and will barge past other dogs if she thinks they’re trying to sit on her bed or play with her ducky toy. She can be a bit snarky with other dominant females
