About Abigail
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This beautiful little lady is one of the sweetest and most adorable cats you'll ever meet. She has a very kind nature and is very gentle and absolutely loves to play.
Abigail can be a little shy at first in a new environment but once she has a chance to settle and gets to know you a bit better, she will be rubbing up against your legs wanting attention. As she gets more confident she only gets more affectionate and very quickly you'll find yourself with a playful and cuddly companion on your hands.
Play time is a great way to bond and get her to come out of her shell, she goes crazy for it. If you scatter a few ping pong balls around she will chase them around for hours, or will quickly make her own entertainment with anything found lying on the floor. If you have a cat wand or a toy on a string she will forget all her fears and come running towards you to play. Your arm will get tired long before she gets bored.
Abigail is also great with young kids. She is currently living in a household with 4 noisy young girls who adore her and she is in turn loving the attention. She's not at all shy about noise once she's comfortable in her new home.
As well as being great with young kids, Abigail is also great with other cats. She has lived with other cats previously and has a very loving and non-dominant personality. If you already have a cat at home I think she would quickly bond and be happy play follow the leader. But saying that she would also do really well as an only cat as she has really blossomed since moving to a home where she has the place to herself.
She can be a bit shy around strangers and will run under the bed when someone new comes around. But as soon as they're gone she will come out of her hiding place and its back to business as usual.
We would love to find a loving and energetic household for Abigail to thrive in, but any household would be lucky to have her. Once she's had a chance to settle in and her beautiful personality shines through you'll be wondering how you ever lived life without her.
Check out a couple cute videos on her profile or on our social media.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
