My name is Douglas, but you can call me Dougie like my Foster Mum does!

Nature
Dougie came into the care of the Angels a little while ago after being saved from living under a house with some other cats. As he grew up outside, it’s taken him a while to trust new humans, but he has come a long way.

Dougie is a curious big ginger boy, who loves to play with toys and run zoomies around the house. He loves to have head and ear scratches. He will need a home with a very special human (or humans) to continue to teach him how to enjoy affection, and to be patient with him whilst he settles in.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be best suited to a home with no children. A quiet, mature home would be best for me whilst I learn to trust my humans more and come out of my shell.

I must have another feline friend in my new home. I’m very cat social and love the company of my fellow felines. If you don’t already have another cat; perhaps you can adopt me with one of my foster friends.

I would be happy to live with dogs with very slow introductions. I’m very animal friendly.

Likes / Dislikes
I LOVE my food! Food is the way to my heart. I get wet food morning and night and have biscuits to graze on during the day.

I dislike very sudden or loud movements and noises.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet, gentle home who will give me time and patience to settle in and come out of my shell! I will make a wonderful house companion once I’m settled in.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
