About Luna Lovegood
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Like her namesake, little Luna Lovegood is a sweet and gentle soul who adores people and has a lot of love to give. She is one of gentlest and kind natured cats you'll ever meet and does not have a mean bone in her body.
Luna was well loved by her previous owner but sadly they had a change in living situation and we're no longer able to look after her so they made the tough decision to find her a new home. She has come from a loving household and we believe that prior to being surrendered she had lived with the one person her entire life.
She can be a bit shy at first in a new environment but once she's had a chance to settle in and build her confidence so will be very keen to start exploring her new home. She took a couple days to settle in her foster home and then was keen to be out and about.
Luna loves a pat and a scratch, can be picked up and smooched, loves to sit on the couch with you and just generally loves being around people. She will sleep on your bed with you if you'll let her and just generally loves a cuddle.
She loves human company and will be happy to see you when you get home from work, rubbing up against your legs and then just hanging out with you wherever you are. But she is not at all needy and is generally happy to just chill out and do her own thing.
She can be a bit nervous around dogs and other cats so she would be best suited to a household where she is the only cat. Once in this environment we believe she will really blossom, significantly gaining in confidence and her beautiful personality will begin to shine through.
Her kind and gentle manner makes her safe to be around young kids, although older kids would be best as I think she would appreciate a quiet household. She would be best suited to a retiree, a homebody, a family with older kids or anyone who's wanting to add an easy going and low maintenance furry bundle of love to their household.
Luna is approximately 6 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.
Located in Boronia with our amazing foster carers.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
