About Flash
Howdy, folks! My name's Flash, and I'm a lively 3-year-old Border Collie x Kelpie mix, ready to find my forever family. I've got a handsome black and white coat and a heart full of love for the great outdoors. If you're the kind of people who love to hike, bushwalk, or stroll along the river, then I'm your perfect partner in adventure.
I get along great with other dogs, so if you have some furry friends already, we'll be fast pals. My ideal family will be one that keeps me busy and engaged. I thrive on activity and mental stimulation, so let's fill our days with exciting walks and fun games. When I'm home alone, I need lots of enrichment to keep my clever mind occupied.
Just a heads up, I need a home with good, secure fencing-none of that farm fencing, please! My adventurous spirit and smarts mean I need a safe environment to keep me from wandering off on my own explorations.
I'm a beautiful, beautiful boy with a zest for life, and I'm on the lookout for a family who shares my love for the outdoors and can provide the active lifestyle I crave. If you're ready for a loyal, loving companion to join you on all your adventures, then I'm your guy.
Can't wait to meet you!
Paws and wags,
Flash

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
