About Loffin
Meet Loffin: The Sweetest Dog Ever!
Loffin is a 3-year-and-10-month-old Beagle cross Harrier who is the epitome of sweetness and charm. With a nose finely tuned for adventure, Loffin loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors on her walks. Her keen sense of smell leads her to new and exciting discoveries, making every walk an adventure.
But Loffin's love for exploration is matched only by her love for spending time with her humans. She isn't a loud girl; in fact, her adorable little howls are as endearing as they are rare. Whether you're working away at BARC or tinkering in the shed, Loffin is content to hang out and keep you company. She's also an excellent garden assistant, always ready to help with a wagging tail and a curious sniff.
Loffin gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be delighted to share her home with a canine friend. She's also great with kids, making her an ideal family pet. Loffin would love nothing more than to join in on outdoor playtime with children, followed by cozy indoor sessions of reading and writing together.
House-trained and well-behaved indoors, Loffin is the perfect companion. She has previously lived with cats and did very well with them, indicating she could happily live with more feline friends, given a slow and gentle introduction.
Loffin is always up for a car ride, enjoying the sights and smells as she goes. Her adventurous spirit means she loves to explore new places, making her an excellent travel buddy.
Like any shelter dog, Loffin will need some training to adjust to her new home, but her sweet nature and eagerness to please make her a quick learner. She does need good fencing to keep her safe as she explores her new surroundings.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
