About Leo - 3 Month Old Domestic Short Hair
Don’t let Leo’s size fool you. In the short time in foster care, he has quickly become the Ruler of everyone in his foster home.
Appropriately named Leo, is very playful one minute, eating the dog’s food a minute later and then curled up on your lap, or chest, or foot, or wherever the resident Cavoodles, have left him enough room. Once there, he will assume that no one will need to move for the rest of the evening as his loud purrs and sound sleeping make it nearly impossible to get up. Don’t be too surprised when he has had enough sleep, he will go from 0-100 in a flash and it’s playtime, yet again.
Leo loves his sister Lucy. She treats him like the little lion he believes he is by letting him curl up next to her for a nap and tolerating his sneak attacks when he has his moments of boundless energy. His foster mum finds this quite hilarious to witness.
All food is delicious in Leo’s opinion. Dinner time would be his most favourite time of the day. He may try to tell you he hasn’t had dinner, but we all know that’s not true.
Leo has met different types of people, dogs and cats in his short time in foster care and has everyone wrapped around his paws. He is used to being carried around by his 7 and 10-year-old “staff members” and is great at letting them know he has had enough. When he wants time alone, he can be found curled up on the foster mum and dad’s bed, charging his kitten batteries for the next adventure.
Leo will need to be strictly an inside only cat at his new home. He is litter trained.
Leo and his sister Lucy would love to stay together however, they will likely adjust to any situation.
Leo is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW. Adoption fee is $250 which includes vaccinations, microchipping and desexing (when he is old enough). Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney.
