About Artie
This handsome boy is Artie!
Our big-headed boy is looking for a Rottweiler (or other similar breed) experienced home. Artie shows all the classic traits of a rottie. He is intelligent, highly confident and has natural working instincts. This big goofball loves to do the typical Rottweiler side-eye (if you know, you know).
Artie does love attention and of course, snacks! He loves to do good sits for his humans and would benefit from some ongoing training. As long as there are treats involved, we are sure he will be eager to learn! Rottweilers require lots of enrichment and socialisation to ensure they remain well balanced. Good guidance from his future owner will be a must.
We are looking for a home with all adults, with the possibility of another doggo friend similar in size. Artie is super social and has had many play dates with dogs while in our care. We will need any resident doggos to be present at the meet & greet to ensure they get along well.
A Rottweiler is not for the faint-hearted and this boy is no exception. Artie has become a favourite of the staff here are The Home, and we are keen to see him break free of the shelter and go to a household that will allow him to be fully immersed in the family.
If you'd like to give Artie the love he needs, come and meet him at the North Melbourne shelter today!
