Mash has a zest for life that is unmatched! He is a little wiggle pot, a jiggly potato who is all about heads down bums up full body wiggle cuddles and kisses with everyone!
He worships the sun gods, Collects Llamas, adores chomping things (watch out feet!) and loves to be involved in everything you do!
Mash knows how to sit and will show you with enthusiasm, walks beautifully by your side, although he tries so hard with this he often and ends up under or between your feet. He is beautifully loyal and a social butterfly to boot!
Food obsessed. anything he thinks is food he will try to snatch - watch out kids and dogs - his teeth are sharp!
Annoying to some of the older dogs he is in care with, with his enthusiasm for life, he is seeking a home with a playful bumbling zoomy tumble dog companion.
Not your ordinary dog, he will need a dedicated home. Even though he is ridiculously adorable and you probably feel like you need him in you life- he is high maintenance breed and will need a committed home. Bulldog experienced homes welcomed!

Medical notes
Legs - His chest and shoulder blades are all a bit wrong, and as a result, his front legs are on the sides of his body rather than underneath him. They can get a little wobbly and tire easily - long before he's ready to call it quits with the zoomies - often landing on his face!
Skin - he is a yeasty boy! To avoid infection he will need his skin folds, ears and tail pocket regularly maintained to avoid infection. Even though he's not a fan of the process, regular cleaning with a medicated shampoo and thorough drying of these areas is essential to keep mash comfortable.
Breathing - Mash has a very narrow windpipe (hypoplastic Trachea) which means that he cannot effectively pant to cool himself. He has had a round of BOAS surgery to reduce the size of his soft palate, Saccules, Tonsils and increase the size of his nasal cavity. He will need to live in climate controlled comfort and to avoid high levels of activity for his lifetime. SODR will pay for revision BOAS surgery (if needed) at our vet in Mornington when mash is 18 months to 2 years old.
Weight - He is obsessed with food! But with all that is going on with his breathing, skin and conformation he needs to be kept at a healthy weight. He will need a little guidance maintaining his waistline! Keeping his weigh off will help him maintain the best mobility his little legs can handle, will reduce the impact on his swayback and minimise the mass of rolls around his throat.
