About Xena
Miss Xena just Loves a snuggle!!
The pretty Miss X just loves people once she has sussed you out, she’s comfortable she is a tad shy to start which can be seen as timid at first, especially with males. Xena is currently living with another female dog, and they get on well with foster sister however Xena can be very rough in her play leaving her smaller foster sister a bit overwhelmed at times. Xena’s foster mum has been doing a lot of training with her as she came into care without a clue about being a doggy so her training is ongoing she is learning about boundaries is learning to walk nicely on her. Seems those Curlews are very evil, apparently! Xena gets a tad excited when she see’s other dogs at other if they’re quite close and makes lots of noise to ensure you know they are there, but mostly because she wants to play. She really, REALLY loves sniffaris (being allowed to sniff til her hearts content) Xena is Very trainable, super smart. Sits and waits for dinner. Place training, socialization, sit, stay, wait and recall still ongoing. Her energy levels are medium at best. She would be a couch potato if she was allowed to be. Her new human will need to be vigilant with her rough play and keep up her training. You will be rewarded with an extremely loyal and affectionate girl.
Xena is a dog that won’t do well in the backyard on her own for long periods of time as long as she is included in family activities, she will be a wonderful companion pet.
If you would like to know more about Xena, her foster mother would love to have a chat.
