Cutiepie Bailey is 19 weeks old and is looking for her perfect forever home.
Bailey’s mum was a black and tan German Shepherd, her dad was a white German Shepherd.
Bailey has unfortunately not received the best start to life, not having received the correct socialisation, exposure or training before coming into rescue with her 5 siblings.
These pups are experiencing the world now for the first time, it is scary and confusing, and they need help navigating the new smells, noises, people and animals around them.
Before being rescued, they hadn’t met any other dogs other than their little family, hadn’t been off their property and had not received the correct nutrition. These pups are starting off weeks behind on their socialisation schedule of where they should be and are looking for experienced, dedicated forever homes that will commit to their ongoing socialisation.
We are looking for homes for these pups with someone home often that can commit to taking them everywhere and exposing them to as much as possible. Right now, their reaction is to bark and growl at things they are unsure of, whilst cute at this age, it will not be cute as an adult and needs to be corrected now through lots of positive experiences and changing their mindsets.
Bailey is very clever, she already knows how to sit, and toilet training is 90% there. Bailey is extremely food motivated and learns things very quickly, she must attend group obedience training so that she can practise her skills and manners under distraction whilst also socialising in a controlled environment.
Bailey is a typical pup that will jump up on the bench, steal anything with food and needs firm boundaries from the start. Bailey is not mouthy and doesn’t jump incessantly however does jump for attention or to reach food, Bailey is quite needy and doesn’t enjoy being on her own.
Bailey may be suited to a home with children, there may be times she will give them a woof if they are making lots of noise or doing things that confuse her.
Bailey is initially worried about meeting other dogs, she will bark at them to tell them how unsure she is, once given the opportunity to meet, she gets along well with other dogs and follows them everywhere. Bailey would greatly benefit from living with a male dog in her new home, she has not been tested with cats but would likely bark at them initially and chase if they ran, she could absolutely be introduced slowly to a cat in her new home.
Bailey loves her humans and is a typical German Shadow, she loves to be wherever you are and will cry if she can’t see you, she will need to undertake some independence training in her new home. Bailey loves to cuddle up on the couch with her humans and must be allowed inside as part of the family.
These pups are not for first-time German Shepherd owners, they are going to take a lot of work to make up for the time already lost for their socialisation. Without the proper exposure now, these pups will be reactive and wary of new people, dogs and scenarios, however in the right hands, they will flourish into the most amazing companions.

Adoption details
We offer a 'Foster to Adopt' program. This means that the dog will go to live with their adoptive family for 4 weeks to ensure it is the perfect match for both the dog and new family. After the 4 weeks is complete, if all has gone well, the adoption is formalised and your new doggy companion is officially yours!
If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
We do not rehome female dogs to a home where there is an existing female dog. Whilst there are always exceptions, it is generally unwise to have two females together; two males can sort it out, a male and a female can sort it out, but when two females fight, the results can be disastrous. For this reason, following the advice from numerous Veterinary behaviourists, as well as our own experience from the last eight years, we do not rehome females into homes with other female dogs.
All of our dogs are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated
Puppies (2 months to 4 months) - $1000
Puppies (4 to 6 months) - $800
Adolescents (6 months to 1 year) - $700
