About Oz
Oz was born in the alley behind several restaurants, where he lived off scraps discarded by a seafood restaurant, with his mother and 3 siblings. He liked to play in the trees outside, but it wasn't a safe place for a young kitten, with bigger stray cats and very frequent cars and trucks driving by.
Oz must have known he was meant for a life indoors, as he made no protests when a Whiskers and Co foster carer picked him up, and quickly started purring. He was initially a bit unwell but is quickly improving with some supportive care and a good diet indoors.
He loves to be brushed and accompany his foster carers while they do work on their laptops. He is quiet and gentle, and exceptionally tolerant.
Oz would love to be adopted by a family who can provide laps for him to sleep on and plenty of chin scratches. He would do best in a home with an older cat, another kitten or a human who is around much of the day to keep him company.
Adoption details
We have an adoption process in place: adoption screening form, interview, meet & greet, adoption contract and post-adoption follow up. Our aim is to find the most suitable homes for ours cats.
We do not consider applications of Temporary Visa Holders. You will be required to show evidence during your interview; e.g. passport, visa grant, birth or citizenship certificate.
