About Colleen
Colleen is a delightful young pup / otter lookalike who wants to be everyone's best friend!
š” Colleen is one of the puppies born in the rescue to mum, Cilla, who found herself in the pound heavily pregnant and gave birth two days later. Having been raised by her mum alongside her siblings in the rescue kennels, Colleen hasn't had any bad experiences with humans in her short life, but she also hasn't yet experienced the love and comfort of a home, which she so desperately craves.
ā¤ļø Colleen is super affectionate and a little social butterfly who just loves to be included in whatever's going on. She was the only girl of the litter (and the smallest by far), but she's learned to hold her own and gets on really well with other dogs who are much bigger than her.
š This charming girl may not have had any formal training yet, but she couldn't be more eager to please and with a little guidance and patience, she'll be sure to shine.
š¶ Like any puppy, Colleen is full of beans, but not overly so. She is happiest when she has company so she'll need someone home most of the time or another doggy companion to keep her occupied while she grows up. She would be a great family dog and will very much want to be part of family outings and activities.
š¾ Colleen is hard to photograph as she doesn't hold still for very long, so check out her videos! She resembles an all-black Labrador and will likely grow to be medium sized.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet girl and commit to her, don't hesitate to reach out and arrange a meeting.

Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
