About Astrid
Introducing Astrid, an intelligent and playful feline with a love for exploring and experiencing new things. Astrid is a sociable cat, who loves humans and other cats alike.
One of Astrid's favorite things to do is to sleep next to her humans. She finds a cozy spot on your pillow and loves to snuggle up close and keep you company.
Astrid loves to be picked up for a cuddle. Ans when you have her in your arms she purrs and purrs.
Astrid loves meeting new people. She's not shy at all! This makes her perfect for a home where people come and go and where there's always plenty of social interaction to keep her stimulated.
In summary, Astrid is a friendly, intelligent, and immensely social kitten who would be a delightful addition to any home. If you love the idea of having a sidekick to explore, discover, and share countless cuddles with, Astrid may just be the purry companion you've been waiting for.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
