💜 Athos - My Foster Mommy calls me "Maggie". I am a quiet sweet girl and love the simple things in life. I enjoy sleeping in a cosy warm spot and hut-like beds. It doesn’t take me long to warm to you. Once I feel safe, I roll on the floor and show you my belly and chest for rubs. I also like to lay up against you, receiving gentle strokes, nothing too rough with me but I would appreciate your affection. I like to retreat to my sleeping spots throughout the day, which make me feel safe. I get these funny bursts of energy in the evenings, and like hide and seek.

🩷 Frankincense - Or "Schmoo", "Schmoo Schmoo" or "Frankie Schmoo" as my Foster Mommy calls me. I’m sweet and quiet too! I smooch around the room, rubbing my chin, especially when food is ready! I am a very playful girl, I need the attention. I like to leap and jump in the air chasing strings, fluffy toys, anything that moves, running through the tunnel with hide and seek. I also make cute noises. I smooch my best friend Maggie and love her very much. Most of the time you can find us sleeping together. I can be scared of people getting too close to me as I run away but once I’m comfortable, I like to sit or sleep near by.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Due to our personalities, we must remain together, we are each other’s rock and need each other to feel safe. It takes us a while to warm to other felines but possible with slow introductions. If we were your only pets that would be purr-fect!

Not sure about doggies for us, we don’t think we’ve met one. I think they would scare us.

Frankincense can be a little frightened of other felines at first but would enjoy children's playful company. Athos is more chilled with other felines but can get stressed with loud young children, so perhaps older children that respect us would be better.

Likes / Dislikes
💜 Athos - I enjoy head and chin strokes, and love belly rubs. I am a biccie girl and drink lots of water, which I need, a drinking fountain would be pawesome too. I’m a big girl, I don’t feel secure being picked up, I will cry but I’m a good girl. I do sit close to you, softly purring. I enjoy looking outside, listening to different sounds. I have fun rolling in and eating cat nip, I’m very funny in how I run and play.

🩷 Frankincense - I run to you for fresh grass. I love wet food, being up high, sitting on the top of the couch and I’m always ready to play! You won’t often catch me, as I run away lots. I’m getting used to gentle head and chin strokes when approached slowly and quietly. I really don’t like my back being touched, I lower my body to the floor. However, I’ll come looking for you and sit near by.

Our PURR-fect home would be a quiet place with older children to give us some enrichment. We’ve never been outdoor cats, we are afraid. We are strictly indoor only please. We would love a sleeping spot together and also our own bed. We don’t mind if you work long hours, we have been used to that too. We hope our right paw-parents will find us soon!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Athos and Frankincense’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Athos has previously had urinary crystals most likely stress induced. It is recommended she stays on a urinary specific prescription diet for her urinary health and to reduce the risk of future urinary crystal formation. She may require anxiety medication at stressful times. A quiet, low stress home will help reduce the chance of further urinary issues. Athos has not had any urinary issues whilst in our care.
