About Darion
✨Meet Darion: the water loving snuggler!✨
Found in a park at 2 weeks young with his mum and 3 siblings, covered in fleas and hungry, Darion has endless love to give! 😻
Name of cat: Darion
Microchip No.: 991003002916671
Date of Birth: 26/1/2024
Gender: male
Colour: ginger
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster home suburb: Blacktown
Cat Personality: Although shy to start and the quietest of the litter, Darion has blossomed into a loving young man. Darion is often described to have a 0 to 100 personality, enjoying a romp with his siblings or the afternoon zoomies, then quickly settling back down for a snuggle on the couch or in a quiet corner of the house. Darion is a BIG bedtime cuddler and would gladly purr away under the covers if allowed. If he feels he has been asleep for too long, he is sure to come looking for some loving scratches and pats from him humans.
Darion has shown a strong interest in water, often playing with a dripping tap or trying to join in baths and showers. His favourite dry toys include feather toys and lasers! Don’t let his initial shyness fool you, he still has endless energy to share!
Darion and his siblings have been raised in a busy household with other cats and young children. He has always been respectful of everyone’s boundaries and seems to get along with everyone he meets. While he would love having a friendly cat to cuddle and play with, Darion would also do well as an only cat, soaking up all the love he can get.

Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. The next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24-hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two-week settling-in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack that contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
