About Benny
*In foster care in Lane Cove, Sydney*
Benny is a gorgeous, delicate flower just waiting to bloom! He's shown his glorious true colours in his foster home, where he feels comfortable and safe, but he'll need lots of patience and love while he gets the hang of his new digs.
It's worth the wait, though! Once Benny settles in you'll discover an affectionate, sweet boy who enjoys a snack, a pat and a play (in roughly that order). He doesn't like loud noises, so a home on the quiet side is essential. A resident cat for company and cuddles would also be awesome!
Like all Maggie's pets, Benny is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will definitely be lovely and calm, like a purrsonal oasis. I can't wait to just 'be', and enjoy lots of quiet me time, with a person or couple (or maybe a family with older kids) who'll respect my needs and be patient with me. But once I've found my paws and feel confident again, be ready for heaps of playing and purring too!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Low, overall. My favourite activities are sleeping and eating treats :) Oh, and sometimes I steal my sister Betty's food - I’m very passionate about dinner time!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I've not met any kids yet, but I have a feeling a tranquil, adults-only home will suit me best - or at least one with older kids (10+) who'll be gentle with me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love cuddling with Betty, so a feline friend to bond with in my new home sounds wonderful!
I'm a bit scared of big dogs, but I'd probably be fine with small, calm ones who won't invade my personal space too much until I get used to them.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
