About Onyx
Meet Onyx.
You want a hiking buddy, cuddle buddy and of course a beautiful new best friend, Onyx is your boy!
Onyx is a medium size dog and a special, smart dog with a love of people and other dogs- big or small.
Onyx is great with kids, elderly people with mobility aids and dogs.
He loves going to the local dog park and walks where he can meet other friendly dogs.
He loves to play tug-o-war and play around with other dogs so a home that's able to provide socialisation with other dogs or has another at home is essential for him.
This guy loves to learn and is egar to please, learning an OUT command to move away from food, other dogs or items when needed. He is great around food and oh so gentle taking treats. He knows sit and drop and will do just about anything for a treat and some pats.
Onyx hasn't had alot of exposure in his past walking in suburbia so can be alert and nervous on a walk but with a treat in hand and reassurance he focuses on his job of being a good boy, sitting and coming when commanded.
Onyx hasn't had the luxury of couches and beds before and although his foster carer allows him on them he often remains on his bed or carpet nearby.
He is looking for a home committed to providing him exercise, continuing training and exposure to the world and a whole lot of love.

Our adoption process consists of:

- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
