About Simona
Meet Simona, a charming feline who routines steals the hearts of every person she encounters. Her endearing antics and affectionate nature make her an ideal companion for anybody seeking a loving, playful pet. Simona has a knack for keeping her humans entertained with her lively personality.
With a soft purr that can melt hearts, Simona has a deep affection for cuddles and tail rubs. This sweet cat has an adorable habit of gently biting the blanket during her kneading sessions, affectionately referred to as "making cookies." Simona’s gentle, kind nature isn't restricted to playtime, as she is well adapted to both human interaction and the company of other cats.
Simona has an independent streak and enjoys her alone time during which she immerses herself into the fast-paced world of her teaser toys. She’s a little explorer, always snooping around your living spaces and might even teach you a thing or two about finding relaxing spots around your home.
Simona is looking for a loving family or individual who appreciates her mild mannerisms and is ready to embrace the unconditional love she has to offer. She will be happy to share her life with other pets or comfortably shine as an only pet. If you are in search of a sweet soul to enrich every corner of your home with love, then Simona is your perfect match.
Medical notes
Simona is a lovely cat with a great personality and will be excellent to adopt to the right home. She has been spayed at 313Vets on 12/6/2024. A tattoo is in her left ear. She is vaccinated, microchipped and wormed. We also have chest x-rays for her.
We first met Simona 16/4/2024. Another vet clinic experienced a bad anaesthetic and declined to spay her then. A diaphragmatic hernia is in her history somewhere. We were asked for an opinion in April. Now that we have x-rays, our opinion is as follows:
OPINION:
-Simona has a diaphragmatic hernia. On thoracic radiographs, the cardiac outline is covered (by intestines) and the lung outline is diminished and pushed dorsally.
-Simona can live perfectly adequately with this defect. Please feed Hills Science prescription i/d food forever to avoid complications. -Diaphragmatic hernias are generally caused by trauma such as a hit by car accident. This will have happened some time ago (more than several months and up to a year). Healing is complete and scar tissue may be considerable.
-Our opinion is that we do not advise surgery, as there is a great deal of opportunity for things to go wrong, and Simona is managing perfectly well.
