About Walter
Meet Walter, the delightful Angora rabbit with a heart as fluffy as his long fur. Rescued from the streets, Walter has flourished under the care of a loving foster family, gaining trust and forming deep bonds with humans along the way. Now, Walter is ready to embark on the next chapter of his journey as a cherished member of a forever family.
As an Angora rabbit with long, fine fur, Walter requires twice daily grooming to prevent serious matting and maintain his coat's health and beauty. With the loving patience of his foster carer, he has become more used to grooming but this will take time and commitment from his new home to ensure he is comfortable and that he gets the grooming he requires. His diet consists of high-quality hay, fresh vegetables, and a small portion of rabbit pellets, supplemented with occasional treats.
Walter has spent much of his time in foster care-free roaming with cats, making him a very agreeable rabbit with cats when it comes to sharing the household. To add to an already impressive personality, get ready for Walter to showcase his adorable sleeping poses, from bunny flops to pancake stretches. He also thoroughly enjoys a game of tickles and will binky/parkour about the lounge in pure delight.
Walter must be an inside rabbit for his health, behaviour and grooming requirements. He would prefer free roam with an isolated area/enclosure whilst settling in and when unsupervised.
If you have the time, dedication and love to give to a very time consuming but unbelievably handsome and affectionate bun, please book an appointment with our shelter team today.
