Meet Mango!
Mango is a 7-month-old German Shepherd x Staffy with a heart full of love and a zest for life, searching for her new forever home where she won't be left behind again. This beautiful girl is super switched on, eager to learn, and the perfect companion for someone interested in obedience or trick training. With her intelligence and energy, Mango could easily learn to fetch a can from the fridge or even help with the laundry!
Mango gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with an older dog who can set some ground rules but also show her just how exciting the outside world can be. She's a bouncy, excitable young pup, so she would do well with kids who are comfortable around a high-energy dog with puppy-like enthusiasm.
However, Mango isn't suited for a home with birds or cats, and she needs an owner dedicated to training her into a well-mannered dog. With the right guidance, Mango is sure to grow into an amazing companion.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
