About Peach
Meet Apricot, Peach, Mango, and Grape - four delightful 11-week-old German Shepherd cross puppies who are ready to leave their mummy and embark on the adventure of finding their forever homes, families, and best friends. Each of these girls has a unique personality and look, making them truly one-of-a-kind additions to any loving home.
Apricot is a sweet and curious pup with a light, golden blonde coat. She may be a bit timid when she first meets new people, but she quickly warms up, especially with the presence of other dogs. Apricot is eager to learn and will thrive with training. She's a blank canvas, never having worn a collar or walked on a lead, but she's ready to explore the world with you.
Peach has a striking black and white coat and a playful nature. She's the playful one of the group, always ready for a game or a romp in the yard. Though she starts off shy, she blossoms into a lively companion when she's comfortable. Peach will benefit from having another dog around or regular canine visitors to help her socialize and build her confidence.
Mango sports a sleek black and white coat and is a bit more reserved than her sisters at first. With patience and love, Mango becomes a loyal and affectionate friend. Training will be essential for Mango, as she is still learning the basics like wearing a collar and walking on a lead. A home with other dogs or frequent doggy playdates will help Mango grow into a confident and well-rounded dog.
Grape is the smallest of the bunch with a beautiful black and white coat and a playful spirit. She's a bit shy initially but quickly warms up in the company of other dogs. Grape is eager to learn and will benefit greatly from structured training and socialization. Having another dog in the home or regular visits from canine friends will help her build confidence and feel secure.
These puppies are all still teething and love to chew, so they'll need a home with kids who understand and are okay with big, bouncy puppies. They are blank slates, full of potential, and with the right training and social environment, they will grow into well-behaved and loving dogs.
If you're looking for a furry friend to join your family, Apricot, Peach, Mango, and Grape are ready to bring joy, love, and endless cuddles into your life. A home with another dog or regular canine visitors is highly recommended to help these pups grow into confident, socialized dogs. Don't miss the chance to welcome one (or more!) of these adorable girls into your home and heart.
To book a meet and greet with Peach please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
